The calculator estimates, for the total amount entered, the product carbon footprint (GWP total in kg CO₂e) from the manufacturing stage up to the point at which the product is supplied to you to be used as raw material in your process. (modules A1–A3).
Additionally, the calculator allows you to estimate the carbon footprint of transporting the product from our site to your delivery location, using distance inputs and standard road transport emission factors. All values and information in this calculator are based on our externally verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), covering modules A1–A3 and, additionally, A4 for transport.

Thanks to this outstanding material property, the wood-based solutions produced by Sonae Arauco in 2023 will retain around three million tons of CO2 during their life cycle.
