The Specification and contracting department from Sonae Arauco is in charge of promote and provide technical support to all prescribers in order to facilitate the prescription job to architects, interior designers, contracting industries and all the relevant stakeholders in the process.

Ecological profile of our products
• Carbon storage in the product: Wood-based panels store biogenic carbon throughout their service life. According to Sonae Arauco’s EPD for uncoated particleboard, 1 m³ of particleboard with an average density of 659.4 kg/m³ stores approximately 1,000 kg CO₂ equivalent over the product’s lifetime.
• Resource-efficient circular economy: Our particleboards are manufactured using more than 60% recycled wood, with selected product ranges containing up to 80%. In addition, the products are 100% recyclable and can therefore contribute to supporting a circular economy.
• Responsible sourcing: 100% of the wood used comes from controlled sources.
• Low formaldehyde emissions: A range of product options is available to meet different customer requirements regarding emissions and indoor air quality.
• Supporting sustainable building projects: Aligned with the sustainability requirements of certified projects and buildings (e.g. LEED®, BREEAM®, WELL® or DGNB). EPDs are available.
