About the project
The Lusíadas Maia Hospital, in Porto, Portugal, reflects a contemporary approach to healthcare space design, combining the functional demands of a hospital environment with a welcoming, bright and visually coherent atmosphere.
In corridors, doors and common areas, the Endless Oak Natural (M6321) introduces a natural and balanced aesthetic, softening circulation spaces and reinforcing a more approachable and human architectural identity.
In the Imaging department, corridors and doors are defined by the Avocado unicolor (L969), allowing for clear functional differentiation without compromising the overall harmony of the project. In the operating block and recovery unit, wall cladding with the Grey Beige (L6160) meets specific technical requirements through a visually neutral solution, suitable for clinical spaces that demand high levels of precision and control.
The Innovus Bamboo (L5206) is applied to functional furniture elements, adding naturalness and lightness to everyday-use spaces while maintaining coherence with the material language used throughout the building.
Prime White (B3768) is used as a solution for staff support areas, namely changing rooms and technical areas.
The result is a balanced project in which the careful selection of decors responds to different functional and technical requirements, ensuring durability, comfort and aesthetic coherence in a context of intensive use, such as a hospital.
