Light shades and natural textures in the Hotel Raxó

The Hotel Raxó, located at Rias Baixas beach in Spain – a very popular tourist area – has been operating for over 50 years and was recently renovated using decors from the Innovus Collection.

The Magyra Beech Nature (M6210) decor was chosen to bring a warm, cosy sensation to the hotel. "The Flow texture of the decor, allied to its light shade, made it the obvious choice for this project. Perfect to the eye and to the touch and with a silky surface, it provides the naturalness we were looking for in this project", explained Paco Galiñanes Chaves from the Paco Galiñanes studio.

This Innovus decor is used in the kitchen and bathroom furniture, as well as on headboards, wardrobes and TV stands in the suites. To give a sensation of continuity, this decor was also used on the entrance doors to the apartments as well as to create the names of the islands in the estuary which identify the different units.

According to Paco Galiñanes Chaves, the ease in requesting samples from Sonae Arauco was decisive in helping the team to choose the precise texture and shade, in order to create a harmonious whole with the other materials that would make up the interior finishes in the establishment.

Moreover, "the wide variety of textures and shades is one of the most attractive characteristics of the Sonae Arauco portfolio and the Innovus brand, where the versatility and variety of designs are an asset to the designer", the architect added.
