Kava Restaurant

About the project

Kava, a restaurant in Marbella, Spain, translates the character of its culinary concept into a warm and intimate interior. Inspired by product and tradition, the space is defined by rich textures, warm tones, and a carefully considered interplay of rhythm, depth, and materiality. Vertical elements, curved openings, and soft lighting create a sense of continuity and shape the atmosphere of the venue.

To bring this concept to life, INHABIT Studio selected Exotic Earth (M6265) and Rust (F6064) from the Innovus collection.

"Innovus enabled us to work with a coordinated palette of materials and décors that integrated seamlessly with the other materials used throughout the project while meeting both aesthetic and functional requirements. The surfaces supported the visual continuity of the concept and contributed to the desired material expression and long-term durability of the design," says Ana Salinero, CEO & Founding Partner of INHABIT.

"In addition, aspects such as raw material origin and material composition were taken into consideration during the material selection process. For this project, Innovus Decorative Panels (DP) were used, manufactured with up to 80% recycled wood content and based on wood sourced from 100% controlled sources.

"These characteristics met the requirements of our project."

The result is a space where architecture, materials, and atmosphere come together to create a cohesive and memorable dining experience.
