New headquarters - Sonae Sierra

Sonae Sierra has opened its new headquarters in Maia (Porto), Portugal. The new office space accommodates more than 100 workstations, a variety of meeting rooms, and an informal auditorium for presentations.

"Resource efficiency and visual comfort were key considerations in the development of the project. This included planning related to energy, water, and daylight, as well as the selection of materials and design elements used throughout the space," explains Jorge Morgadinho, Managing Director of Reify and Project Manager.

The project incorporates OSB panels used in the office café area, Café Central, as well as several decors from the Innovus® Collection:

• Natural Concrete (F2204) – desks, break area counters, and storage cabinets 

• Yang Marble (F2273) – tabletops in meeting rooms 

• Silk Light Grey (LS166) – magnetic notice boards in meeting alcoves 

• Pure White (B4402) – tables in meeting alcoves 

• Silk Anthracite (LS4054) – magnetic notice boards in meeting rooms 

• Black (L3031) – cabinet plinths in meeting rooms and desks in the circular workspace
  
  

The Innovus® decors, including concrete and plaster-inspired finishes, met the design and functional requirements of the project team and "help create spaces that are more natural, authentic, distinctive, and comfortable."

The offices are part of the Sonae Campus and reflect the company’s vision for the workplace of the future. As the growing need for flexibility continues to reshape workplace dynamics and collaboration, the project has been designed to support different ways of working while providing spaces that encourage creativity and teamwork.
